Technically, midseason came and went a couple weeks ago—but better late than never. After seven weeks of Fall 2025 MASHA action, the league has delivered high-scoring games, breakout stars, and plenty of intrigue heading into the stretch run.
The Running Rebels sit atop the standings at 5-1-1-0, and have looked like the team to beat. Isaac Bagwell is the clear MVP front-runner, leading the league with 22 points in 7 games and the only player with double digit goals and assists. Brandon Thurmond has held it down in net with a .859 SV%. Add in Fall 2024 MVP Donald Kleckner, who has 12 points in just 3 appearances, and Will MacDonald with 19 in 5, and the Rebels have firepower all over the lineup. If Kleckner returns for the playoffs, this team will be a serious threat to take it all.
Frozen Fury (4-3-0-0) has been carried by a strong rookie core—particularly the Hughes brothers, Mikole and Mario, who have combined for 31 points through 8 games. Both are in the running for Rookie of the Year, with Mikole’s scoring pace slightly edging out Mario’s, but the team’s overall defense has given up the second-most goals in the league which could prove costly in the playoffs.
Panda Watch sits at 3-4-0-0, but their record doesn’t reflect the talent on the roster. Michael McChesney (18 pts in 9 games) continues to lead the offense, while Summer 2025 MVP Perry Holcombe, Chris Hamel, and Camron Williams provide reliable depth and two-way play. Jeff Paré has posted a strong .874 SV% in net. With good chemistry and solid attendance, Panda Watch is in a great position to surge late and challenge for a playoff upset.
The Knights (2-5-0-0) have had a rocky first half, largely due to inconsistent attendance, but there are bright spots. Sean Fleming leads the way with 12 points in 7 appearances, delivering steady production despite the team’s struggles. Chris Cummo has also stepped up as a reliable two-way presence, tallying 9 points in 6 games. Winter 2025 MVP Chris Haynes has been limited so far but remains a potential difference-maker if available down the stretch. If the Knights can rally their full lineup in the final weeks, they could be contenders.
With a few weeks to go, the MVP race appears to be Bagwell’s to lose, Rookie of the Year looks like a battle between the Hughes brothers, and all four teams still have Championship hopes. Buckle up for the final stretch.
