In one of the wildest shootouts of the season, Panda Hockey Club outlasted the Rebels 7–6 behind a stunning 6-goal performance from Perry Holcombe. Greg Spivia added 3 assists, while Jared Williams turned away 15 shots. Donald Kleckner matched Holcombe with 6 goals of his own, but PHC held on in the final frame.

Game 2: Bulldogs 6, Doc Hollidays 5 (OT)
The Bulldogs rallied from a 4–1 hole and completed the comeback in overtime. Brian Saling scored a hat trick, including the game winning goal in overtime, and added two assists, while Sean Fleming, Will Biberdorf, and Ivan Vukov each had 3 points. Chris Haynes led the Doc Hollidays with 4 points in a back-and-forth battle.
