Game 1: Midnight Riders 8, Salsa 5
Midnight Riders jumped out to a 5-1 lead late in the second, but Salsa came roaring back with four straight goals to tie it early in the third. The Riders responded with three unanswered goals to finish off an 8-5 win. Perry Holcombe and Chris Hamel, subbing in, each recorded hat tricks, and Will Biberdorf tallied five assists in another standout performance. Jeff Pare chipped in two goals, and Bob Kent made 19 saves to help close the door. Salsa’s comeback effort was led by Donald Kleckner (3G) and Will MacDonald (1G, 2A), while Brandon Thurmond faced 27 shots and finished with a .704 SV% in net.

Game 2: Dawg Pac 4, The Ex Presidents 2
Dawg Pac wrapped up the regular season with a solid 4-2 win, finishing 8-2 and locking in the top seed. Chris Haynes (1G, 2A) and Greg Spivia (1G, 1A) led the way offensively, and Bob Kent made 10 saves on 12 shots (.833 SV%) to seal the win. The Ex Presidents got goals from Danny Simons and Sean Fleming, and Eric Phelps turned in a strong performance with 28 saves (.879 SV%) but couldn’t overcome Dawg Pac’s puck control and pressure.
