Dawg Pac bounced back with a strong 4-1 win over Salsa, locking up first place in the regular season. Isaac Bagwell scored twice, while Chris Haynes added two assists and five different players tallied points in a well-rounded effort. Bob Kent stopped 17 of 18 shots (.944 SV%), limiting Salsa to a single goal early in the game, while Brandon Thurmond stopped 30 of 34 shots (.882 SV%) Despite the loss, Salsa remain in second place.

Game 2: Midnight Riders 7, The Ex Presidents 2
The Midnight Riders exploded offensively, cruising to a 7-2 win and pulling even with The Ex Presidents in the standings. Will Biberdorf led the charge with five goals, while Perry Holcombe and Brian Saling combined for six assists. The Riders’ offense overwhelmed from the start, and Daniel Deisz turned away 19 of 21 shots (.905 SV%) to secure the win. The Ex Presidents couldn’t match the scoring pace, with goals from Ivan Vukov and Michael McChesney being their only offense.
