Game 1: The Ex Presidents 5, Salsa 1
The Ex Presidents came out strong, securing their first win of the season with a commanding 5-1 victory over Salsa. Brett Sawulski, Ivan Vukov, and Danny Simons each tallied 3 points, showcasing a well-rounded offensive effort. Eric Phelps was solid in net, stopping 17 of 18 shots for a .944 save percentage. Salsa’s lone goal came from Will MacDonald, assisted by Drew Warner, but their offense was held in check by The Ex Presidents’ strong defense.

Game 2: Midnight Riders 3, Dawg Pac 2
The Midnight Riders picked up their first win of the season in a tightly contested 3-2 game against Dawg Pac. Captain Perry Holcombe led the way with 2 goals, while Camron Williams added another. Eric Phelps, subbing in net for the Midnight Riders, delivered another strong performance with 20 saves on 22 shots for a .909 save percentage. Dawg Pac saw goals from Chris Haynes and Carson Rivadeneira, with Bob Kent making 21 saves in a valiant effort in goal.
